چکیده

We describe a method for numerically incorporating electron–electron scattering in quantum wells for small deviations of the distribution function from equilibrium, within the framework of the Boltzmann equation. For a given temperature T and density n, a symmetric matrix needs to be evaluated only once, and henceforth it can be used to describe electron–electron scattering in any Boltzmann equation linear-response calculation for that particular T and n. Using this method, we calculate the distribution function and mobility for electrons in a quantum-well, including full finite-temperature dynamic screening effects. We find that at some parameters which we inves-

اثرات بس ذره‌ای در مایعات الکترونی ابعاد کم

This review article is about the role of electron-electron interactions in low dimensional systems and its transport properties in nano-structures. It begins with a review of the pair-distribution function theory of electron liquid systems taking into account the electron-electron interactions. We extend the theory for highly correlated system such two- and one-dimensional electron liquids. We...

Electron Transport in III-V Nitride Two-Dimensional Electron Gases

We present a study of electron scattering processes in AlGaN/GaN two-dimensional electron gases. A theoretical study of the effect of deformation potential scattering from strain fields surrounding dislocations is presented. The most important scattering mechanisms limiting electron transport are identified. We find that for AlGaN/GaN 2DEGs, mobility is limited by alloy scattering at high 2DEG ...

Quantum and classical scattering times due to charged dislocations in an impure electron gas

We derive the ratio of transport and single-particle relaxation times in threeand two-dimensional electron gases due to scattering from charged dislocations in semiconductors. The results are compared to the respective relaxation times due to randomly placed charged impurities. We find that the ratio is larger than the case of ionized impurity scattering in both threeand two-dimensional electro...

سنتز گرافن سه بعدی و بهینه‌سازی مورفولوژی آن

Due to electrical properties (high electron mobility) and electrochemical characteristics (high electron transport rate), graphene-based  materials have been widely applied for various scientific fields. However, due to their two-dimensional  structures, these materials have low active sites for reaction. Therefore, changing from two-dimensional sheets dimensional to the three-dimensi...
